Archibald Chisholm
(Northern District and Diocese of Aberdeen) Born in Strathglass, 6/9th February 1849, the son of William Chisholm and Catherine (Chisholm ?); left for Scotland, 18th June 1875, and ordained a priest by Bishop Strain in Blairs, 15th August 1875; died in Strathglass, 27th January 1904.

The Rev. Archibald Chisholm was born in Strathglass on the 6th February, 1849; entered Blairs College on the 29th July, 1865; and was sent to the Scots College, Valladolid, in November, 1870. He received the Tonsure and Minor Orders at Avila from Mgr. F. Blanco y Lorenzo on the 20th February, 1875. Having returned to Scotland in May, he was ordained Sub-Deacon on the 11th, Deacon on the 13th, and Priest on the 15th August, by Bishop Strain in Blairs College. He was stationed at Fochabers.
